One of my biggest projects that Bobby assigned to me was to take care of bare areas from where they had taken trees down and they needed nurtured so grass would start to grow over those areas along the course. These bare areas made the course look ugly and not well taken care of. This was the most time consuming project I had to do while interning at Seneca Hills Golf Club.
A few projects I had that did not take as long as the bare areas were the following I painted the pipes in the ravine, counted the pine trees on the course, organized the linen closet, and re-stocked the beer cooler and drinks in the back room.
The pipes needed painted green to match the others along the ravine. I was assigned to count the pine trees because Bobby needed to know how much chemical he needed to buy to keep the pine trees alive. The job to organize the linen closet was to make sure Bobby knew how many tablecloths and napkins he had already for events and that also gave him an idea of how many he may need to buy.
About every week I would re-stock the back room when the new shipment of drinks came in so that it was neat and you could quickly get the drinks needed to put in the coolers. The beer cooler also needed re-stocked about every week when the new shipment of beer would come in. I would take out what was currently in the cooler and put in the new cases to ensure we had enough cold when we needed it.
